Small Business Saturday Nov. 26

Remember to visit your favorite independent bookstore on Black Friday and Small Business Saturday (Nov. 25 -26). My favorite is This Old Book in Grayslake, Illinois. Visit Friday for 25% off of all books, maps, and artwork. On Saturday they’re giving away two totes filled with specially selected books: one for children and one for adults. Visit their website at www.thisoldbook.com.

While you might expect to find books for sale at a hair salon, Edison the Christmas Elf and the Imperfect Perfect Toy as well as Vanished! will be available at Dianna’s Salon & Spa (310 West Rollins, Round Lake, Illinois) as they celebrate Small Business Saturday. Visit Dianna’s website: http://diannashairsalon.com/

New Edison the Christmas Elf Video

Lights! Camera! Action! Edison the Christmas Elf and the Imperfect Perfect Toy is now a movie! Well, not exactly, but it is a YouTube video complete with narration, music, and sound effects. So break out the popcorn, sit back, and enjoy the video of the book.

The video is best-viewed full screen. Likes & comments are more than welcome. Please share with family and friends.

Hardcover, paperback, and Kindle editions of Edison the Christmas Elf and the Imperfect Perfect Toy are available from Amazon and Barnes & Noble online (BN.com). For information on personalized copies visit the book page of this website or send an email to vaitonis39@gmail.com.

Vanished! is on the Way

“Vanished!” is on its way. Well, not until late summer. I recently signed a contract with my publisher for my second children’s book. If all goes well it will be published as a hardcover in late July, but more likely in August of this year. The book is about the adventures a young girl experiences while searching for her missing bear. Lindsay Wallen is the artist.
